I setup yet another Twitter account, but this one I plan to use…it’s FREE!
Twitter is a social messaging utility for staying connected in real time by answering the question, ‘what are you doing now?’ The service enables you to broadcast short messages to your friends or “followers”. It also lets you specify which Twitter users you want to follow so you can read their messages in one place.
I have only begun using Twitter so I can’t really provide much feedback or tips, however I found this article that discusses 9 Benefits of Twitter for Bloggers. I liked the idea of using Twitter as a research tool. I was also inspired by the graph of how traffic to ProBlogger had increased since using Twitter…this was enough to convince me!
I plan to actively use Twitter and will post on here as I discover benefits for real estate agents. Twitter makes me think of Phil Collins’ lyrics ”I will follow you will follow me”. If you have Twitter my URL is http://twitter.com/carlhmartens come follow me and I will follow you.
