By Carl Martens | May 6, 2008
Oh yeah…and it is FREE. From the makers of Camtasia Studio (which allows me to produce video tutorials) comes another cool tool, Jing Project.
You can use Jing Project to capture a screen-shot like the one below and add arrows and text (even stick figured people) to get a point across.
…or use it to create video.
You can even share your computer screen with someone while you give them a tutorial!!!
Jing Project is free and Realtors can use this technology in a variety of ways…what are you waiting for, download Jing Project today!

Produce Virtual Tours That Look Like Professional Movie Trailers!
By Carl Martens | May 2, 2008
Animoto combines your photos with music to produce something that looks quite similar to a professional movie trailer. Every video is unique and can be shared via email or embedded into websites. Check out the short video I created for the RKiHomes Team listing at 687 Norfleet in Springlake subdivision in Atlanta:
Animoto allows for FREE production of short 30 sec duration videos like the one featured above or you can produce much longer videos with an All-Access Pass for just $30/year…that’s right…a year, finally something for Realtors that isn’t $30 a month! To receive $5 off your All-Access Pass enter the promotional code. “vjbqnlyr” You can also pay per video for just $3 a video. Give it a try…you’ll get hooked!

Drip Email, Autoresponders, & Newsletters for Real Estate Agents
By Carl Martens | April 30, 2008
Last night I met with Terry Burger, he is a Realtor as well as a search engine marketer…like myself. The purpose of the meeting was to get to know one another and learn about each other’s businesses. Early on I learned a valuable lesson about business from my father, “there’s enough business for everyone” and as such sometimes I learn the most from my competitors.
Terry is not a direct competitor of the services I offer through Zowbie, however we are quite similar. Terry specializes in pay-per click advertisement whereas I focus on coaching agents how to place high in search engines organically. I am a firm believer that in order to optimize performance you must have both at work.
That’s a brief background as well as a sales pitch…now here’s a service Terry shared with me that I’ll share with ya’ll.
The service is called AWeber and it is really cool! For $19.95 per month you are able to add an unlimited amount of forms to an unlimited amount of websi
tes. This form becomes your call-to-action on your site and individuals information is automatically entered into AWeber’s database. This is an excellent service if your current website provider does not offer drip email campaigns…if you have a Wordpress or custom site! The reporting that the program offers is excellent and easy to use. I plan to give these guys a try…if you are interested in seeing how it works I’m willing to give you a walk through of the account I setup.
