How to Quickly Add an Appointment from E-mail to Your Office Calender
By Carl Martens | March 18, 2008
Have you ever received an E-mail message that contains a date for an appointment? Instead of switching to your Calendar and retyping the details about the appointment, just drag the E-mail to your Office Calender.
- Click on the E-mail message and drag it to the Calendar on the Outlook bar or in theFolder List
- A new Appointment window will appear with “today’s date”
- The subject of the E-mail message will automatically appear in the subject line of the appointment, and the text of the E-mail will appear in the Appointment window
- To finalize the appointment, adjust the date and time because Outlook will automatically schedule it for the next available half-hour increment.
