How to Insert Images Into E-mail Messages in Five Easy Steps
By Carl Martens | March 14, 2008
You can insert images into an E-mail message in just five easy steps, this post will explain how:
- Within Microsoft Outlook, open a “New Mail Message”
- Insert the curor within the body (where you type your message) of the email message where you would like to insert the image.
- From the “Insert” drop down menu, select “Picture…”
- Within the Picture Dialogue box click on browse, find the image you would like to insert from the folders on your harddrive and select it.
- Enter in any Alternate Text and edit the Layout and Spacing then it OK.
A demonstration is provided below (I apologize for the poor quality…it’s my first video!) and one will also be provided in class.
Note: If you want to insert a postcard or flyer of a listing, first create it using a program like Photoshop, InDesign, Publisher, etc. and save the file as a jpeg…when you browse for the image to insert you will locate the jpeg file and insert it into the message.
